Administrative Certificate Services
While many certifications require a checkride, we are authorized to provide several administrative-only processing services via IACRA. These functions allow for the issuance or amendment of certificates without a practical test, provided all regulatory requirements are met.
Removal of Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) Limitation (§61.64): We specialize in the administrative removal of the "Supervised Operating Experience Required" limitation. This specific limitation is placed on a PIC type rating when the practical test was performed in a flight simulator without the applicant meeting the prerequisite flight time in the aircraft. We will verify your original logbooks documenting the 25 hours of supervised operating experience required to remove this restriction.
Second-in-Command (SIC) Type Rating Privileges (§61.55): We process the administrative issuance of "SIC Privileges Only" type ratings. This service is for pilots who have completed the ground and flight training requirements of §61.55 for a specific aircraft type.
Flight Instructor Renewals (§61.197): We provide administrative renewals for current Flight Instructors. This can be processed based on a Flight Instructor Refresher Clinic (FIRC) graduation certificate, a record of training activity, or a proven record of duties in a professional pilot capacity.
Ground Instructor Certificates (§61.213): We process the administrative issuance of Basic, Advanced, and Instrument Ground Instructor (BGI, AGI, IGI) certificates. We will verify your identity and your original, valid FAA knowledge test reports to finalize your application via IACRA.
Foreign Pilot Certification (§61.75): We assist foreign-licensed pilots in obtaining a U.S. Private Pilot Certificate based on their foreign credentials. Please ensure you have received your "Letter of Authenticity" from the FAA’s Airmen Certification Branch in Oklahoma City before scheduling this appointment.
Military Competency (§61.73): We process applications for commercial pilot certificates and instrument ratings for active-duty or retired military pilots based on military flight records.
Remote Pilot (Part 107) & Other Limitations: We provide administrative processing for Part 61 holders seeking an sUAS rating. Additionally, we handle the removal of other certificate limitations on a case-by-case basis; please contact us to discuss your specific regulatory needs.
Administrative Policies
Identity Verification & Remote Technology: Per FAA Order 8900.1, administrative acts require strict identity verification. While many services traditionally require an in-person meeting, we are authorized to utilize remote communication technology for certain administrative functions where permitted by current FAA policy. Please contact us to determine if your specific application is eligible for a remote appointment.
Required Documentation: Whether meeting in person or via authorized remote technology, you must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and all original documentation (logbooks, certificates, or letters of authenticity) relevant to your application.
IACRA Integration: All applications are processed through the IACRA system. Please ensure your application is started and you have your FTN available for the appointment.
