Transparent, Upfront, Flexible... It is important for clients to have a clear picture of their investment in our services. Our pricing model is created to ensure that there are options for everyone and everything is presented upfront.

Testing Fees, Administrative Fees, and Add-On Options:

  • Testing Fees: These are the fees assessed to conduct the FAA required ground and flight portions of a practical test. Our testing fees are static and do not change based on location of test.

  • Administrative fees: Administrative fees are assessed where appropriate to offset the additional overhead costs of our technology, team, facilities and other fixed and variable cost items that apply to a service offered.

  • Add-On Options: These are items that a client can add or are added under a specific circumstance and do not constitute a testing fee. Add-on options vary and are tailored to offer clients additional flexibility on where and when they can book appointments.

Testing Fees:

  • Initial - Private Pilot Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam required for issuance of FAA Private Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate. $900.00

  • Initial - Instrument Rating Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam required for issuance of FAA Instrument Rating to Private or Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate. $900.00

  • Initial - Commercial Pilot Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam required for issuance of FAA Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate. $900.00

  • Initial - Multi-Engine Added Rating Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam required for issuance of FAA Multi-Engine Added Rating to Private or Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate. $1500.00

  • Retest - Private Pilot Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam retest required for issuance of FAA Private Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate after notice of disapproval. $500.00

  • Retest - Instrument Rating Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam retest required for issuance of FAA Instrument Rating to Private or Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate after notice of disapproval. $500.00

  • Retest - Commercial Pilot Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam retest required for issuance of FAA Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate after notice of disapproval. $500.00

  • Retest - Multi-Engine Added Rating Checkride - Ground and flight practical exam retest required for issuance of FAA Multi-Engine Added Rating to Private or Commercial Pilot - Single-Engine Land pilot certificate. $500.00

Administrative Fees:

  • Discontinuance Admin Fee - For any reason at any time (except to side-step an unsatisfactory task), an applicant may request to discontinue a practical test. Common reasons for discontinuing are based on exercising good ADM (weather, health, mechanical or other risk factor). When this occurs, there is additional time and steps required from our team to reschedule, re-assess candidate and aircraft qualifications, and prepare to complete the practical test. This fee is not a testing fee and is due at the time the practical test is restarted. $200.00

  • Cancellation Fee - Avoidable cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment, failure to appear (no-show), or an applicant's failure to complete required onboarding documents at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will incur a flat fee based on the service type: $250 (Checkride), $100 (Instruction), or $25 (Administrative).

Administrative fees do not include any testing fees.

Add-On Services:

  • Travel Add-on - We will travel to your location to conduct the practical test. Click here for more information. Starting at $900.00

  • Reserve The Day Add-on - If you want to ensure every opportunity to complete your checkride in a single day, this add-on reserves the whole day for you. We will not schedule another test on the same day and will be available to complete the ground and flight anytime between sunrise and sunset. $1600.00

Add-on services do not include any testing fees.

Payment Notes & Processing Fees:

We accept cash and major credit cards. Please note that all credit card transactions are subject to a 4.0% processing fee. Testing fees are collected upon verification of applicant qualifications on the day of the test and are never contingent upon the outcome of an evaluation.
