Specialized Training & Proficiency
Beyond certification, we provide expert-level instruction designed to sharpen your skills and ensure operational proficiency. Whether you are returning to currency, transitioning to a new airframe, or seeking advanced systems mastery, our goal is to provide a comprehensive training experience tailored to your specific mission.
Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC): For pilots seeking to regain instrument currency, we conduct IPCs in accordance with current Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Our sessions focus on real-world scenarios, including task saturation management, weather decision-making, and precision hand-flying.
Flight Review (§61.56): A flight review is more than a regulatory requirement; it is an opportunity to refresh your foundational knowledge. Our reviews consist of a minimum of one hour of ground instruction and one hour of flight training, customized to the type of flying you do most.
Specialized Systems & Transitions: We provide specialized training for glass cockpit transitions (G1000/Perspective), high-performance, and complex aircraft endorsements. We focus on the "why" behind the systems to ensure you are comfortable and capable in high-workload environments.
Mountain Flying & Local Indoctrination: Flying in the Blue Ridge Mountains presents unique challenges. We offer specialized mountain flying courses covering density altitude, ridge crossings, canyon turns, and local weather patterns to ensure you can safely navigate the Appalachian terrain.
